Laser engraved vintage game boards, 2023 – 2024

Before man could write; he still drew. Eventually these drawings became symbols and language. A symbol is a mark or sign that represents an idea, object, or relationship. With this series I dig a bit below the surface; no peace sign, no cross, no skull and cross bones. We all recognize those and the meaning each represents. The symbols that I use share a connection with the vintage game board they are each burnt into. It is up to the viewer to decipher my intentions.
