Lock Him Up continues my exploration and interpretation of Donald Trump’s language. A central theme of his 2016 campaign rallies was to demonize Hillary Clinton, encouraging followers to chant the phrase “lock her up”. After losing the 2020 election, President Trump was greeted by a crowd chanting “lock him up” when he returned to the White House. Only time will tell when he will get locked up.
